About Me

Hey there!

I always want to know who the person behind a blog is, and I always get a bit sad when I find a great blog, but no page that is about themselves, and I’m sure I’m not the only one! So, let’s start!

Down to the Basics!
 My name is Amber. I am a 16 year old girl. I live on a little island somewhere in the Caribbean, where there sadly are no season changes. It pretty much is summer every single day of the year, except when it is hurricane season. I love reading books, especially spiritual ones. I do count myself as an artist, I love drawing. My favorite subject at school is most probably History. I never get bored of learning about the past, especially about medieval times! My favorite feature of myself are my eyes, and my least favorite feature is my nose, because it is so straight. Put a ruler to it and the two will be parallel!

Family
I come from a very spiritual family, as far as my moms side goes. My uncle has a extra sense. When somebody comes into the room with a pain somewhere, he’ll know it, because he feels the pain, himself. My mom lately has been having the same. I think it runs in the family. I look up most to my uncle, because he, whenever I visit my family in Holland, takes me to amazing spiritual shops, and buys me things like pendulums and tarot cards. My whole family is Catholic, though on my moms side, they aren’t too religious. We never go to church. We actually never do anything that relates to being Catholic, and my parents support me in what I believe in.

Paganism
 As you may or may not have noticed, I am a Atheist/Eclectic Wiccan, though I don’t like limiting myself to Wicca. I like to take things from different religions. I take a lot of lessons and teachings from Buddhism, but if someone were to ask me what I am, I’d tell them I’m a Atheist, but very inspired by Paganism.

Hobbies
 I love reading, drawing, playing guitar, singing, and windsurfing. I’ve done the last three for about four to five years, and the first two as long as I can remember.
I am also an apprentice at a tattoo shop. I love drawing, as I have stated before, and am learning to be a tattoo artist. :)

Music
Music, believe it or not, for me, ranges from soft, relaxing instrumental music and nature sounds, all the way up to death metal. I am very openminded with pretty much anything, and the same with music. The only music genres I cannot stand are Rap and HipHop, or pretty much anything that gets played on the radio these days.
